Job Requirements

Age 21 at Appointment to Sworn Officer Education High School Diploma/G.E.D. Equivalent Must have a current valid Ohio Driver’s License Must have a valid Ohio Peace Officer Training Certificate, and must be current with your commission. Must have knowledge of Correct English usage, spelling, grammar, and punctuation. Additional Requirement: No felony convictions or misdemeanor convictions involving moral turpitude. Candidates with experience working in a police department, with military experience, or with an associate of arts degree in criminal justice or a related field will be considered more desirable.
